Rotzog checked over his new slugga complete with sight and grinned. It'd cost him a few teef to get it from one of the weapon meks, but he didn't mind, cos this one had a sight! And so he'd be able to kill off a few more of the hummies better now! His boyz ran by him, heading toward their new trukk which they'd built themselves after their last one had been blown to bits by a lucky rokkit hit from those damn beakiez in the last battle.
He roared with glee as he stormed forward. "Hop on ladz! Dis new trukk iz gonna take us to some good fightin!" His ladz cheered in reply. Once they were all aboard he shouted at the driver. Within moments the trukk pulled out of the Blood Axe Kompound and joined the hundreds of other rag tag vehicles that were storming toward the front line. Rotzog stood and let the wind hit his face and yelled a mighty warcry. Today, was going to be a good day for fightin!
Had fun painting these. I was going to give them urban camo on thier bottoms, but when it came to applying it, it just didn't look right. Next time I'll apply it before the wash, and see how that comes out.
The trukk itself is nowt special, but the Big Shoota and the Stikbomb upgrade ork, are both on bases which means I can remove them both at will. This is good as it means I don't have to have Stikbombs for the perpose of WYSIWYG, and if my big shoota gets destoryed, I can remove the ork holding it.
It MAY be just a style thing, but personally, I would put a few more hilites, or less dark washes. The general colour palette is a good choice, and the desert-warfare concept is cool, but the details seem a teeny bit bland. I would just up the hilites a tad if it were me.

The hi-lights have been left out purely because they take longer to do. Especially the skin. If they were display models or models or more importantance within the army (Like a Character) then they'd probably have more detail.
The problem lies in the fact I'm a stupidly slow worker :/ And the longer it takes me to get things done, the more annoyed I get about them.
Well done! I love the trukk. Is it any more difficult to paint something larger? Also, purely out of curiosity, what kind of paint do you use? Looks like high quality stuff.
